This outstanding example of a Lebanese varietal Chardonnay has pronounced primary aromas of apples, peaches and pineapple as well as secondary notes of toast, butter and vanilla.
In the mouth the wine is dry with high acidity and is full bodied and rounded with excellent weight. There are further notes of green, stone and exotic fruit, underpinned with a pleasant creamy texture. The finish is long. The wine has excellent varietal definition as well as balance of body, acidity, alcohol and intensity of flavours. It is a wine that can develop for nearly two decades, retaining fruit, acidity and structure and will develop tertiary flavours such as honey, dried, apricot and marmalade, ginger, cinnamon and nuts.
